Lauren L. Mock was born in Albany, Georgia in 1982 and grew up in Lee County. She attended the University of Georgia School of Law where she received her J.D., cum laude, in 2007. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Emory University in 2004 and her A.A. from Oxford College of Emory University in 2002. While in law school, Ms. Mock was a member of the law school’s Moot Court Board and the Honor Council Hearing Panel. She was also the recipient of the 2007 William King Meadow Award. She is a member of the Dougherty Circuit and the American Bar Association, and Georgia Bar Association.
Ms. Mock is also licensed to practice in the State of Alabama. She was admitted to the Alabama Bar in May of 2008.
Ms. Mock’s practice focuses on litigation medical malpractice, personal injury, health care law, and banking, with an emphasis on creditor representation.
Ms. Mock is active in her community. She is currently President of the Theatre Albany Board of Directors, and currently serves as its President. She is a member of the Lee County Chamber of Commerce and the Oxford College Alumni Board. Ms. Mock has served for several years as a volunteer for the Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition and since 2011 has served as Regional Coordinator for Region 1. Ms. Mock was selected to and participated in Leadership Albany Class of 2009, and was named one of Southwest Georgia’s “40 under 40” in 2010. Ms. Mock joined the Firm as an associate upon graduation from law school, and became a member in 2013.
