The Firm’s litigation practice has expanded over the years to include a variety of administrative matters, including the representation of both employees and employers in workers’ compensation claims, unemployment benefit claims, local, state, and federal tax controversies, reimbursement issues before Georgia’s Department of Medical Assistance, and health care licensing and regulatory issues before Georgia’s Department of Human Resources.
Lee Durham, LLC is experienced in alternative dispute resolution, and often is successful in resolving disputes for its clients without resort to the vagaries of trial before judge or jury. In addition to representing clients in ADR for many years, Mr. Lee has often served as arbitrator by appointment of the United States District Court, Middle District of Georgia, as a panel member for its Court Annexed Arbitration Program for many years. As mentioned above, Mr. Lee has recently completed his formal mediation training at the Fanning Institute and became certified as a mediator by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. This training and experience inures to the direct benefit of the Firm’s clients, whose disputes often are routed to voluntary or mandatory mediation.
